I think these guys get people in their ears with unrealistic expectations. I love Gilliam but is he a Pac12 type talent? Does he go ‘home’ to Fresno and replace Rivers? Same question with Perryman. Is the Pac12 calling? I get that they have a degree in hand (hopefully) and played 4 seasons (one short one), so this is gravy. But…unless you can’t work out a grad school option here, only transfer for a definite football upgrade.

i was looking at the previews of games for the high school championships. some of the records are bizarre. there are several teams with 6 losses, i think one with a 6-7 record, heading into the weekend. teams had lousy regular seasons (maybe a tough league, tough preseason) got into expanded playoff fields and then ran the table. probably too many divisions.

looks like they averaged about 7000 in regular season, had 10000 for playoffs

It was a fun atmosphere for the women. Bigger crowd than their norm, and the energy level was high. Darius does a really good job engaging with the crowd. There was hospitality on the west side, community day kid activities on the east, and the men’s team gathered in the south end for the post game meal.

I believe the new school pays the buyout. Most of the contract have a prorated buyout.
