If we win Saturday, I expect a home game thanksgiving weekend. Win that and we’re on the road vs one of the higher seeded ‘bye teams’. That would be a very winnable game.

But, let’s not look ahead…just win Saturday and see what shakes out.

I believe what was meant bid they got them to come out here at a much cheaper price than they would’ve normally paid for a one-of. With SUU and Utah Tech part of the BSC, finding FCS schools to come here is going to be a challenge.

From what I heard, Sac offered to pay off Stetson for us to back out and play in Davis. But, our financial payout to the Hatters was a pretty sweet deal so we are saying ‘thanks, but no thanks’..we’ll take a lesser opponent at home before SMU.

can I go on record that I couldn’t care less what they do? My son is an alum so I hope they succeed. But their efforts don’t have an impact on us after this Saturday.

don’t hold your breath. In the archives I see the San Jose gene from Monday, and then one from last Saturday. It’s certainly not like ESPN+ where all the games (I believe) are there and very soon after the conclusion.

I figured out how I could have watched it playing around this morning. The MW.com site is not great - there was no replay available this morning, and the number of replays accessible was pretty limited.

Tough matchup for us - oddsmakers have them as 12 point favorites. I think our defense might keep us in the game, and how close depends on the 3 point shooting. If we can bump our 27% shooting to something closer to 37%, we can make it a game. We’ll have to do a really good job on the boards, also

I also think some of this is Plough’s gamesmanship - get them riled up, lose composure and take advantage of their mental mistakes

i think back then, there were more openings on the schedule. starting next year, we'll have 9 Big Sky game and 3 out of conference. IF SAC is planning on moving to FBS, i don't think we'll want to have 2 of our 3 OOC games be FBS games. Their situations is so chaotic i don't know how you can plan in 2027 and beyond.

it’s certainly not legal but it’s being done. Neither Lan nor Rex ever put their names in the portal and they got offers. At least those were AFTER the season. With big schools being able to do revenue sharing up to the limit AND collectives still giving NIL money, it’ll be harder to keep guys

I think the NIL threat to players with multiple years of eligibility is much greater. The money I’m hearing that people are offering our guys right now makes my head spin.
