Grizzly board seems to think he's coming to Davis. Of course, you have to read through 4 pages of fans rationalizing that they will be better without him, and a few posts about how going from UM to UCD is such a downgrade. Whatever. He's going to get a great chance to learn from a former NBA guard, and play a lot of minutes close to home. Sounds like a win for all involved.

Sure would be nice if we could talk about additions rather than subtractions. I know there are still a lot of players in the portal looking, so maybe we end up with some quality transfers.

That is a strange one. I certainly don’t know his situation and or course wish him the best. Just doesn’t make much sense from an outsiders perspective.

I think, given the current portal culture, coaches have to be open to letting guys looking and maybe coming back.

Update on Fuller is that he’s visiting Montana St.

He’s going to haunt me for the next four years. Or, more likely, for one season before transferring to Middle St tech.

I've seen Monroe's highlight and he's very much like Manjon. About the same size, same type of finishing around the basket, the occasional deep shot. Seems like he could step right in to the starting lineup. We'll see...

I'm not used to being impatient around this type of stuff, but I'm getting a bit frustrated with all these players going somewhere else and we don't hear boo from the Ags. I know the coaches are working behind the scenes, and we probably won't know who they are targeting until they actually commit. Just wish we knew something...

They must have pretty good intel, though, as that’s not a program I would have guessed.

As far as I know, the only three leaving are the ones who graduated, Konrad, Stobbart, and Hall. But news on the women players is a little harder to find.

I watched this players tape and it's a lot of dunks or shots at the basket, with a few 3 pointers thrown in there. With 3 years of eligibility left, he'd be a good fit.

I guess from my point of view, I'd like to see the press start to ask questions about why the mass exodus...Get the school to say something, even if it's a generic response. I think, with the baseball scandal still fresh, it's not unreasonable to at least ask why 7/8 kids with eligibility have left the program.

It does seem like there should be some statement from the AD and/or coach. Hopefully they're not waiting for further defections to hit.

Wow that is another shocker. The three who graduated (Fuller, Ba, Shaw) I get, plus McGill who's minutes dwindled to nothing near the end of the season, I understand, but Murphy was often times one of the first "Bigs" off the bench and he seemed to be in line for a lot more minutes. I wonder if, with Manjon leaving, no one wants to be the last man on the sinking ship.

Looks like we've made another offer. Good size, 3 point range and can move well for a big guy. He has several other midmajor offers, so we'll see where he ends up.

Both good points. Basketball circles are pretty small...all the good players in a region know each other and end up playing a lot of summer ball together. I'm assuming Kyman and Anderson will be the new faces of Laramie Peak Ford Dealership.
