I think it was a Plough decision to try and throw a TD pass there (since Davis gets the ball again after half). He is thinking FGs aren't going to win this thing. Plough put Pinnick in that spot.

But the goal there was to throw a TD pass, not call a T.O. and kick a field goal.
They could have done that with :07 left, but decided not to.

Davis is going to have to “find a way to win” again. They likely will, but man, how exhausting as a fan.
