Getting that FG potentially puts the team up and negates the missed PAT...and if it's executed well, gives the kicking team a shot in the arm of confidence. Felt like Plough put it all on the hard eight right there.
I'm counting on the Bengals tendency to blow early leads and signs that the Aggie D has figured out a few things. So far, though, the two teams are equal in everything but special teams play. I think we'll see the UCD offense continue to roll in the second half. Go Ags!
Was rooting for Vandy, missed out on that last on-side by a couple of feet. Texas grinds out a much needed program win at home against probably the best Vandy team in 30 years if not all time.
We're all forgetting Pinn is a RFr. and coming off an illness, the 2 turnovers, 1 of them garbage, is just a mind/body thing - love the competitor inside of #12, expecting a big 2nd half.
We're back home in Sac from Paris and still feeling jet lagged but we plan to be there. HWY 50 closures by West Sac is going to complicate the drive. Hopefully, I'll shake off the brain fog by then! GO AGS!!
My issue with the Big Sky, or really FCS teams, is active football message boards. I checked all three Utah teams we played this season, Mercer, Northern Arizona, and Idaho State, and practically all have dead message boards.
potential upset is in Cheney where it will be 55 and potentially wet
EWU defense pretty much stinks and is giving up 4.7 or 5 yards a carry depending on overall or league stats. Anything could happen on that gawd-awful red turf but I suspect Sac State will likely run all over them.
Of course Sac defense is also iffy. If they had played disciplined ball last week, they would have beat Montana. Pint muff was a big turning point not to mention hold on to-the-house kick return for TD. But Sac State and discipline are oxymorons.
