3/5 for CSUF makes sense. They just listed it wrong on the schedule. The double header with the women in the Golden 1 Center is great. Very cool that the women get to play there also.

There is an error in the schedule. It has us playing at Fullerton and at Hawaii on Saturday, February 5th. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen! I sent an email to the Athletics Department alerting them to the error.

I'd rather not play these D3 and NAIA games. I think it's hard for the Ags to be mentally up for games like that while those teams are fired up to upset the Aggies. There's not much to gain with a win and a lot to lose. The loss to the Academy of Art shocked the Aggies and the fans as well.

Several games changed from what was being cited and anticipated. Arkansas State cancelled in order to play at Illinois and the Whitman College game was dropped at the last moment. I'm not crazy about the Academy of Art game...it brings back bad memories!

The Ags will host D3 Whitman College (Walla Walla, Washington) on November 11.

I just noticed a new player on the men's roster:

Patrick Lambey 6'5 190 Junior Forward out of Granite Bay HS and Yuba College.

She transferred to Point Loma University in San Diego which is her hometown:

Yikes...Coach Les has said, "Never let your team be lacking guards," bit I'm sure Jen has it covered. One of the new recruits, Marley Langi, a 6 foot wing could be very, very good.

Long Beach State has released their 2021-22 schedule. The Beach will come to Davis on January 29 and the Ags will go to Long Beach on March 3.

A Utah Statesman article is reporting that UC Irvine is at Utah State on November 9th. It was previously reported that the Aggies were playing at USU on November 9th. So, at this point, I don't don't know if the paper made a mistake and the Ags are at USU or the previous report was wrong and Irvine is at USU on November 9th.

That's really too bad. He seemed like he was very talented and a great student as well.

UC Santa Barbara has released their 2021-22 schedule. The Aggies will play in the Thunderdome on January 22 and the Gauchos will come to Davis on February 24.

Corey Hawkins to be inducted into the Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame

Kevin Blue did not "leave very abruptly." He gave months of notice.

His integrity was beyond question and he did as much, if not more, than any AD that I can remember to elevate the entire athletics program during his tenure. You can be assured that none of this baseball stuff was happening on his watch and, if it did, he knew nothing at all about it.

Great game. France is a really good basketball team and they had beat the Americans in their first game. Outstanding Gold Medal for the Americans and it didn't come easy. The rest of the world is producing a lot of great talent and playing at a much higher level than in years past.

I was wrong about the Ags playing PSU. They are actually hosting the Portland Pilots on 12/22.

That's interesting, Mike. It's obvious that Les has made a statement about his players testing the waters for a bigger stage: "If you aren't 100% committed to being an Aggie and want to see if there is something bigger out there, then don't bother to try and come back if it doesn't pan out." That may be harsh but it does say something about the team culture and the commitment to the program that he expects from his players.
