Not so much for us because of our academic requirements. Anyone who we offer could also get into Sac but not everyone that Sac offers would meet our academic requirements. Sac can cast a wider net whereas ours is more limited so we don't really compete head-to-head much. Sac also utilizes the portal more than we do.

They'll be tough and I think it will be a challenging game for the Aggies. We've seen some improvement with the Ags recently and I hope that continues.

It's incredible that Larison was so dedicated to being an Aggie that he would turn down that kind of money...wow...we are so fortunate to have him!

However, it's sad that the big schools with huge amounts of NIL money will now be able to try and buy the best FCS players and, you know what, you can't blame a lot of the kids who decide to move up for a big paycheck. There are a lot of college football and basketball players come from low income families and that kind of money could be huge for them and, even those who didn't come from disadvantaged backgrounds, would certainly be tempted to have that kind of money while they are in college. FBS schools are going to decimate the best talent in the FBS with offers of big bucks.

The San Diego win over Toledo by 35 points is astonishing! Toledo was on a 5 game winning streak and came into the game averaging 89 points per game.

Did you also hear Scott Marsh say the Lan Larison was offered $400,000 in the off season to transfer to an FBS school? Did I hear that right?

Ok, I watched the all the replays they had of that TD catch several times. At first I thought his left heel was out but you have to put the replay in slow motion to see the exact instant where he caught the ball and then stop the action to see that his right toe appears to be down for a fraction of a second and just before his left heel touches down out of bounds. I think it was a legitimate TD. There certainly was not enough evidence to change the call.
