I don't expect us to win this one but I hope we are able to keep the score respectable and come away from the game without a bunch of injuries. We can't make mistakes and giveaways in a game like this. I think our offense is going to have a tough time putting up points against a team with the size and speed of OSU. Our defense looks pretty good so I hope we won't get burned with big plays and we make the Beavers earn their points.

I think Wrighster is a huge get for the Aggies. He reminds me of former EWU QB Eric Barriere and Aggie fans know just how good he was. In addition to all the D1 offers he got, he also made visits to Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Northwestern. So he was definitely on the radar of some major programs. You have to wonder why the Aggies first 14 games of the season are all on the road? They've been on the road since August 25th and don't play in Davis untiI October 5th. I'm assuming that they simply can't get teams to come to Davis but I know some coaches feel like road games build team cohesion and toughness before the conference games start. However, if the Aggies continue to slump and lose a lot matches, it could be demoralizing. All of that travel has got to be tiring after a while and costly too so I'm thinking that many OOC teams just refuse to come to Davis.

After starting the season with two impressive wins over two Power 5 conference teams, the Aggies have been struggling. They lost to Idaho State today in 4 sets (25-18, 23-25, 25-11, 25-23) in Pocatello. The Bengals were 0-5 coming into today's match and had only won one set so far this season.

The long road trip continues for the Ags and it doesn't get any easier as they travel to Los Angeles to play USC at 7 pm on Friday 9/8.

The Aggies lost a crazy game today to Seattle 3-2 and fall to 2-1 on the year. Despite playing down a man for most of the second half, Seattle scored in the winning goal in the 86th minute when the Aggie keeper went way out of the box to try and make a stop but failed to get to the ball and the Seattle player rolled an easy shot into the wide open net. Seattle also scored on an Aggie own goal in the 74th minute. Tough way to lose. The Ags now head to Loyola Marymount for a 7 pm game on Wednesday, 9/6.

The Ags lost to LMU 1-0 today in Davis. This is the third 1-0 game the Aggies have lost already this season. The Ags will try and stop their 2 game losing streak when they travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, to play the Cornhuskers at 7 pm PT on Thursday, 9/7.

The #5 Aggies go undefeated in the Air Force Rare Air Invitational to move to 4-0 on the season. They beat Claremont-Mudd Scripps 15-5 and Air Force 18-5 today.

#9 BYU was much too strong for the Aggies today in front of a big crowd in Provo, Utah. The Cougars downed the Aggies 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-11). The Ags (3-2) now trade to Pocatello, Idaho, for an 11 AM contest with Idaho State. This will be the 6th of 14 straight road games for the Aggies.

TAMC posted the official attendance at 4227 and and showed 91 degrees at kickoff.
