Hastings makes a lot of sense considering how well he's played, how Tompkins does not seem to be the answer and how poorly Hunter Rodrigues has played. The other Hunter (Hays, of ISU) has a passer rating of 191.6. To me, a huge difference has been the line play--both lines--for the Bengals. Are we sure these aren't the Cincinnati Bengals?

Watching on ESPN+, that roughing call should have been avoided. The Aggie player jumped too far from the point of the punter's contact with the ball and too close to the punter. He should have had a block.

Lindy's college basketball preview magazine picks the Ags to finish 3rd in the Big West behind the Gauchos and the Anteaters. They base this pick at least partially on the quality of the Aggie guards, Manjon and Pepper.

How much input does the UCD administration have on who does the broadcasts? For each football game I've seen on ESPN+ so far, they use the home-field announcers. This suggests that ESPN is handing the choice to someone at the host campus. I suspect the SID would be the person to contact if anyone has problems with the choice of the Aggie call and color guys.

Baseball Dobbins: My guess is that he figured that he could get 3 points on the board and they could win if they got another touchdown. Idaho did need two scores to win in regulation and the way his team was moving the ball, he gambled on the field goal and that his team could stop us once and score the game winner.
