I am sorry that Bossy Cow-Cow is no longer used. At my wedding reception in Sacramento, my friends rolled it out for me leaving my relatives bemused and me very grateful for such a unique and clearly Aggie tradition.
CBS moved UCD up to #4, ahead of South Dakota a week late, but I guess it is unlikely that the Ags will move past anyone unless they can beat Montana and somebody else loses. Question is, woudl a loss to Montana move them lower?
Yes, thanks, I get all of that and I'm not longer unhappy about the move to D1 since it let me see the Aggies play in Hawai`i (for two more years at least). Being satisfied with where we are, though is a long way from wanting to see UC Davis move to the Pac-12(+/-).
Given how I hate what has happened at the major college level (NIL, all these super conferences, schools seeing 50%+ turnover due to the transfer portal) I am totally content with the Ags staying where they are. In fact, I was not all that happy when they moved up from Division 2. Sounds liek I'm in the minority here.
Speaking only for myself, I don't mind having the game on election night. It'll be a good distraction from what will be a tense day, to say nothing of the high probability that the election will not be decided until Wednesday, Thursday or who knows?
UCD record for biggest blow-out is 63-0 in 1922 v. Mare Island. NCAA record: 65-12 v. SF State in 1985. This margin, if it holds will set the record against FCS opposition.
Weird stat: ESP showed the following times of possession after the first quarter: UNC - 23:46, UCD - 21:08. Someone was asleep at the switch. Now it shows 25:49 and 20:12 respectively. Aggies hot negative time!
Didn't realize that UNC's QB is from Hawai`i. I have bit of a soft spot for the Bears because an old friend of mine, also from Hawai`i, was once the president there. I think the school has a lot of students from out here.
