Big West teams are now 25-16 in the preseason. Not bad.

30-28 is definitely respectable against the #2 team to whom we were 7 point underdogs. Note we outgained MSU 414-333, not that it counts for anything.

I flashed on the Bob Biggs 16 point comeback against Hayward in 1972 (the one I left too early). This one would have been huge if only. So many "if onlys" in this one. At least we made Bobcat fans very nervous.

To repeat: Would a 30-15 loss be respectable? 30-22 too much to expect? I mean as far as FCS rankings will be concerned.

Bobcats have played very well, but can we see the Ags brought their A game?

Best we can hope for is to make the score more respectable. #32 looks unstoppable.

Field position has been a big problem. Montana State started all but two of their possessions in UCD territory and one of those was at their 48.

Seems like all of the Bobcats scores came as a result of Aggie mishaps: Shamburger falling down on the first TD, an interception, a fumble and a punt return TD. A big difference is their D-line's ability to sack Hastings while our line, as it has all year, has trouble putting pressure on Mellot. On the other hand, this could be a 3 score deficit if MSU had not missed two kicks= 4 points.

Everything has broken in favor of Montana State so far. We have to hope that UCD will get a few breaks.

I guess we can see why Bobcats are undefeated. Shake it off Ags!

Wish I could be there, but I've never even been to Health Stadium nor seen a football game live in Davis since 1973. This one will be hard to miss. Glad I can watch it at least. Go Ags! Beat the Cats!
