My guess is we’ll see Rodriguez second half.I think he didn’t start because of his terrible first interception last week.

    Two things

why would Daft make an entirely lateral move?
We’re averaging almost 35 points per game and are third in the country in first downs.

From his Dartmouth bio, a summary of the Aggies success under the prior regime:

Daft spent five years on the staff at UC Davis, serving as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for his last four. In his final season, the Aggies averaged over 28 points and nearly 400 total yards — of which 238 came through the air. UC Davis also ranked 14th among FCS schools in fewest interceptions thrown (7) and 10th in fewest turnovers lost (13) under his guidance in 2016.

The year prior, Daft’s offense was terrific at ball control as well, ranking second in the nation in time of possession and 12th in completion percentage (.645), not to mention fifth in red zone offense, scoring on over 90 percent of trips inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. His 2014 offense was also among the top 20 nationally in completion percentage (.644, 12th) and team passing efficiency (146.28, 19th). The top-two rushing totals at UC Davis of the past 14 years came during his watch as well.

They’ve played the second toughest schedule in the Big Sky to this point, a pretty good team might have their record.
It seems they currently have a bad case of QB injuries. From their site:

“Brasch, winning a six-man battle for the starting nod at quarterback during Fall Camp, is a transfer from Cal, where he played two games in 2019 against Utah and Oregon State, after completing 359 of 602 passes for 5,522 yards with 78 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions over his final two prep seasons at Higley High School in Gilbert, Ariz. Brasch is currently sidelined with a fracture in his throwing hand and Conor Bruce, who made his first collegiate start four weeks ago at Montana and completed 16 of 30 passes for 183 yards, also is out with an injury. Freshman Kahliq Paulette from Converse, Texas, has missed the last two games as well. Redshirt freshman Jackson Pavitt and true freshman Jaden Jones are the top two signal callers on the depth chart this week.”

Those two QBs have not been impressive so far.
Pavitt has started the last couple of games and is 15-35-1 with a rating of 62.34
Jones is 4-13-3 for an efficiency rating of 0.12 in his one game. Jones is the only guy on their team who gets more than 4 yards a carry,

    Right they were.
I think the law was for a distance of one mile, but because of the size of the campus we had to go to the Mace blvd overpass area to buy liquor, one could get beer and wine in town.

I believe I saw Ford Parks back in the game later. The two tackles I don’t know.
One shortcoming of our broadcast team is they don’t remark on linemen much.
It was interesting to hear the pause while Marsh named Nico Sarale, as he checked the pronunciation guide. He is a sophomore who’s been on the team for four years.

Downtown adjacent to campus a huge plus for students. Being able to not have a car, no DUI risk.

I’ll toast Davis with an Amador county Zin. a Lodi Zin or a Dry Creek Zin I’m not snobby about appellations.

I had a friend in the dorms, who told me I had to see something that he thought was outstanding. He was a surfer from San Clamente, so he’s seen some beautiful scenery before. But the Sacramento River was beautiful to him.
  • Week 7: Northern Colorado @ UC Davis
He’s another of those 6ft guys who are too small that are the wave of the future.
