Caught the last part of the show. Hawk made a comment about how our team speed has significantly improved. Doss had a great interview and was very confident in the teams overall skill level and was excited about the FBS opponents. We’ll know a lot tomorrow night about this time. Go Ags!

I always have high expectations this time of the year. During the Gould era, the Aggies sucked for the first 4 or so games, then seemed to improve. Last year Hawk seemed to have them prepared early in the season. But tomorrow will be a great litmus test for us. One of the posters on the Spartan site predicted that they would take control of the game in the second half, I suspect bc of the size difference on the lines. While I hope that prediction is wrong, it is a reasonable speculation.

My map app shows 1 hour from my house in Livermore right now. 2 hours from woodland. roads are 'blue', smooth sailing. hope that's the case on Thursday. — DrMike

Hawk seems to like to have the ball on first possession of the game. I'll be looking for them to test the secondary on first or second snap of the game, maybe with the long ball. If that's the case, my vote is Maier.
