  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
I don’t think it’s the QB. No running game outside of HR TD run.

    This team has fumblitis.
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
no. Just that he is not available. Nothing about extent of injury.
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
exactly. Take the 25. It’s just simple odds (and no fumbles).

Really missing Gilliam. He is so versatile.
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
Without Gilliam or Larison I would not have gone for it up the middle.
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
    Idaho state going wide successfully.
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
Gilliam out. Didn’t notice an injury last week. Maybe a bit banged up?

Nice to have a mobile quarterback.

After doing some reading, it appears to be more of an issue with how the athletic department/team wants to disclose things. So part of it is the “keep the opponent guessing”, but as for reporting it seems the consensus approach is to keep it general, e.g., lower or upper body injury (I’ve heard that just recently while watching a game) with no detailed diagnosis/prognosis. The trainers need information from the doctors in order to treat athletes, and the coaches have to be in the know for personnel reasons and if they need to limit participation. The HIPPA part would be obtaining information from the health provider as I understand. Apparently players sign waivers so that information can flow from doctors to trainers, etc. So I think it has to do as much or more with the changing approach/norms of athletic departments and universities with being less open/detailed as HIPPA constraints which more directly relates to release of information from the health provider. I’ll ask my daughter-she’s a PA.

that’s right- King has started every game to my knowledge - game notes are often incorrect t/misleading.

it was Devon king - probably the best tackler - and certainly best corner on the team. Hope his injury is not too severe.
  • Polls
there is a definite advantage of having a good prior season and name recognition. Under that condition you have to fall out of the playoff selection and as you can see a couple of losses for a MVC team means they are still in for the most part. See what a couple loses does when you are not in the top 25. You are likely not in.

The ISU quarterback Vander Waal is a transfer from Wyoming. He is big and has a string arm but not real quick and not consistently accurate. They do not have a bevy of fast receivers, but they can move the ball. Their running game will have a hard time against the Aggie D in my opinion. They are not as good as their 2018 team.

The key is to get some pressure on their QB and rattle him. Also reduce the mistakes and turnovers. (A fair catch on a kick off is normally a pretty good decision). The Ags should be able to move the ball and put up quite a few points.

Interesting note is that ISU’s QB a year ago is playing for Missouri State. He qb’d in their win Saturday against northern iowa.
  • April 1st+ possible fan attendance?
    Data doesn't matter to California.
    LOL!
  • Week 3: Cal Poly @ #21 UC Davis
    Anyway to rewatch this game?

Should be available in big sky app or big sky website in a day or so. I missed from mid-second half to end as my wife and I were ringing bells at church while Poly was getting their bell rung - so I will look for it too, although not much of a game to watch other than to see a bunch of players.

Hope king is not too badly injured. He is the best corner and maybe best tackler the Ags have

NDSU scores on jump ball near the half to go up 21-6 on UND. Hard to beat them in the Fargo dome.

they looked good against the ranked teams....and really good so far today. This is the best looking defense I have seen easily in 1AA era. Hope it stays.
