Reason Field Hockey was added? There was a donor ready to fund the Field Hockey "stadium" and program.

So this leaves Stanford, Cal and UC Davis with field hockey to the west of the Mississippi. Seems like we could tam up with Cal and Stanford and have teams from the east come and play all 3 of us?

Perhaps the Admins should compile these ideas and present them to Rocko De Luca?

I spoke with a few members of the Athletics staff about the logo. What the lemon CA represents is the only true "letter logo" UC Davis has had. A lot of the credit actually goes to baseball because the primary horse head in the C logo doesn't look great on hats, so Coach Vaughn went with the lemon CA, which has a lot of tradition. The other letter logo that has been on hats as been the interlocking UCD that baseball has worn, but the university is trying to get away from "UCD" and instead toward the proper UC Davis and the interlocking UCD has never been an official logo. I am a huge proponent of history, but we need to be sure that the use of the lemon CA does not revert to people (especially alums) calling us the "Cal Aggies," which we are not.

If I remember correctly, AST was pretty critical of Plough's play calling during his last stint here. Are we confident things will change? If so, why?

Gotta ask, if we are "years away from being a contender," then why were we all fast to get rid of Coach G if we are not expecting the same result? If the foundation has been laid, as has been said by several different people, including Coach Hawk, then why wouldn't Coach G or Coach Hawk be held to the same standard?
