I don't doubt that the coaches and players expected to perform better against OSU, but at the end of the day it was a game against a ranked FBS team. It's pretty rare that even a good FCS team looks decent against a top FBS team, not to say that it can't happen.

SUU will be the first true indicator of what the Aggies can do this season. I think finally getting a home game will be big for us as SUU will be on the road for the 3rd week in a row. Hopefully we can get a clean sheet on the turnovers and get the offense back on track.

Don't get me wrong, I would have liked to look more competitive against OSU but how we do in these games aren't always indicative of how the rest of the season will play out. We got our warm up in against Commerce and our money bag game against OSU. Real season starts next week and that will tell us a lot more than either of the first 2 games.

I was attending a wedding and was not able to watch the game, but anyone who didn't see this coming was lying to themselves. There's nothing really to take away from this game with the talent levels so mismatched. Toughest game of the season is out of the way now and we can focus on FCS opponents. Hopefully no major injuries were sustained.

I've certainly been wrong before on how recruits are going to pan out, but this does feel like a big get for the Aggies. Big arm and has wheels which adds a dimension to his game that our other QBs don't really have to a large extent. I wouldn't complain if we got the same kind of success out of Wrighster that EWU got out of EB3!
