Miles was looking sharp in the first half, but this 2nd half is looking a lot like last season. Staring down receivers, noodle arm under throws, and wildly inaccurate on anything longer than 5-10 yards.

Was not expecting that half at all tbh. Ott was absent for most of the half and the Aggies controlled the pace of the game. Davis should be up, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I would love to be able to predict a win here, but I'm going to have to go win the Bears winning something like 38-17. I'm looking for at least respectable offensive production with no turnovers and mistakes. I just think Ott is going to be too much for our defense to handle especially with several new guys in the front 7.

I agree with your assessment, but at the same time if we had beaten EWU or NAU (or both) like we probably should have it wouldn't have been an issue.

Not sure I'm a huge fan of the side of shorts design, but the pin stripes are SHARP!

Cal Game Notes

- QB is listed as Fernando Mendoza OR Chandler Rogers
- Holy cow their offensive line is huge, defensive line is going to have their hands full
- Transfer WR Tobias Merriweather listed as a starter. 6'5 and was ripping up their DBs in camp according to folks online

Another great episode guys! I'm hoping that we see a brand new Miles going into this season. Would love it if we came out of this game totally turnover free even if it ends up being a loss. I don't think that we'll win if I'm being perfectly honest, but I love that Brock is feeling it. I'm sure the team is fired the hell up to go get a W! GO AGS!

Apparently from the Cal weekly presser (I didn't actually watch it, but according to fans over on the Cal forum) a starting QB still hasn't been named. That doesn't seem like a ringing endorsement of Mendoza as the incumbent starter if we're already to game week and the coaching staff isn't right out backing him as the starter. I guess we'll see.

Pretty impressive that Dixon worked his way onto the 2 deep in the switch over from QB. Cool to see some freshmen making the deep as well. The offensive line has some size for FCS football. Here's hoping to a good season!

Definitely one of those "all risk, no reward" kind of games. A win means literally nothing and a loss or major injury could tank the entire season.
