I have as much right to talk about the game as any of the homers on this site who drone on about the same crap game after game. Do I call them out on it individually ? The biggest problems with this game were:

1. It was a road game. This does no good for anyone who is not willing to travel to see it. If you watch it on TV you have to hear other people talk about it unless you turn off the sound.

2 The Aggies allowed the Beavers to score more points than they did.

3. Too much analysis. It was a college football game that had slaughter for money written all over it before it started. It tells you zip about how the team will do against conference opponents and quite frankly I don't give a fart. Failing against a significantly stronger opponent does not in any way guarantee they will do better against weak opponents. Nothing to see here.

That's a good point. I would guess field hockey is unaffected because there are enough non PAC-12 members. Those snobby east coast programs will just have to come out here for a change. Lacrosse probably needs a new conference.

I wonder if the teams left behind (including Stanford and Cal) have grounds for a lawsuit against the super-conferences for poaching so many of their members and reducing the PAC-12 to the point where it couldn't complete a full schedule and it lost tv reveue. I mean, I could see a furure where maybe Cal has to shutter its athletic program completely. There is a pretty clear cause and effect here

As far as I can tell from their website Buckhorn Grill is not that well-represented in Sacramento (only 2 locations). They used to have another in Downtown/Midtown but restaurants in that area have a really tough time surviving. It's Newton's fault lol.

Fresno is just a dump of a city. When the economy went into the crapper so did the standards. A lot of those Fresno State rooters are townie losers who live vicariously through the bulldogs because their lives suck and they live in Fresno.

I hope you did not stay in any of the hotels/motels nearest the campus. Roach motels. It's actually funny to read the reviews and proprietor's responses on hotels.com . There's one owner/manager who was blaming his place's lack of cleanliness on having to pay high taxes so the US could provide HIMARS to Ukraine.

I occasionally go the Central Valley to see some minor league baseball (Stockton, Modesto, Visalia), , but I tell you I would never go see a Fresno Grizzlies game again. The downtown is all boarded up and the fans are stupid and disrespectful. On one of my trips to Visalia the local news had a story about someone getting off the bus on Blackstone in Fresno and immediately getting stabbed in the neck at the bus stop. I thought "Sounds about right for Fresno" when I heard that.
