I thought the knee was down too. Officials didn't hurt us, we hurt ourselves and ISU were excellent. And yes, Tanner Conner, 80, is really good. Pretty sure he has hurt us before.

They played very well and we were crappy. Easy to say now from my couch, but I guess pulling HR wasn't the best option. TT looked limited, didn't seem like he could complete anything but short passes. If he can improve his passing he'll be tremendous, but he's not there yet.

I hate this. I hate putting TT in for one play. Give him a series. When he comes in for one play everyone knows he's there to run. If he's in for a series you can have him throw a few passes and at least create some doubt.

Better yet let Hastings have a couple of series so he can settle in.

Why that decision? Why put TT in?

What I remember most about the Niner-Dolphins Super Bowl is the Niners' pass rush. I remember that team also had a good-to-great secondary, but it's the front four (weren't they playing a 4-3?) I remember. Of course I watched at the Graduate with the rugby team, so I'm not what you might call reliable when it comes to the details.

Lots of Idaho fans hate the Kibbie Dome but I like it. When our kids were small we usually had season tickets, and it was a comfortable place to be with small kids. When it's packed it is really loud. When I got here in '94 Idaho was a very good 1-AA team, and the games against BSU and Montana were ear-splitting. There's an indoor track, and in the winter it was a great place to run until I got more used to the cold.

I haven't been into the new basketball arena yet but look forward to seeing the insides. It is right between the College of Law, where I used to work, and the Dome, so I watched it come up for a while.

Right now TT needs just enough passing attempts to keep defenses guessing. I don't know how good he is as a passer, but if he only runs defenses will figure out how to stop him.
