Hawaii women are going to the new WBIT, which is a 32-team NCAA-sponsored bracket.

That's what a fellow alum and I were just discussing via text. No gas left in the legs.

I like them, but I think they should be the #7 SEC team vs the #6 B1G, not any of the small school AQs.

This tournament feels like a nice moment for Mazzie Harris. Doing some dirty, hard work in all the games so far:
Fullerton: 6 reb, 6 ast, 1 stl, 1 block, 5 pts, 22 minutes (most starters didn't play more than this).
SLO: 7 reb, 3 ast, 2 pts, 29 minutes.
Hawaii: 4 reb, 1 stl, 3 blocks (!), 13 pts, 36 minutes.

Aggies played Hawaii pretty well during the conference season. :chin:

Long Beach making some noise: just took down Riverside in OT.

Only team that Davis lost to twice in conference play.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Boot both played today. ;)

Good start for the Aggies! Final was 81-56.

As mentioned, Turner was on fire, finishing with 29 pts, including 7-10 from deep. Toba with a quiet (for her) 12 pts. Lots of double-digit minutes from the bench, so the starters weren't on the floor as much as normal.

Turnover battle: Davis had 24 points off 16 Fullerton TOs, where as Fullerton only had 13 pts off 14 Davis TOs. Good defense!

Riverside won, which I think means the Aggies are the 5-seed, playing 8-seed Fullerton on day 1 of the tournament.

The head-scratching continues, however, as the Aggies allowed only 27 points to CSUN over the first three quarters, and then allowed 27 points in the 4th quarter alone.

It's a W, though.

This team can be a real headscratcher.

Yeah, I saw the (relatively) low number of assists and high number of paint points and thought Davis must have been getting some good lanes.

Score was 20-7 for the 4th quarter. That's how you do it!

Hawaii and Irvine at 10-3.
SB (eked out win against 0-13 CSUN!), Davis, and SLO (assuming they pull out the win against LB) all at 9-4.
