UND wasn't down 12 players, they were down 15 players! This included a corner and a safety that Hawk said could be the best playet in FCS according to a ND paper.

A few people have wondered how Maier was so low profile. Apparently in his early high school years his team was decimated by players leaving the program. Maybe coaching roulette, too. So he played with no talent, and had no real receivers. I think his Soph and Jr year they had maybe 2 or 3 wins.

I am now getting the story why Maier was low profile coming out of high school ...

Dr. Mike, if their O line beat us, that doesn't sound good. They are depleted and young.

A win is a win, but we still have work to do, esp on D. Tehran Thomas had at least a few good runs... and the TEs were open all night.

They had a ton of injuries so I wouldn't get too happy, and please, no NFLHOF comparisons.

Our rushing game has so far dropped off compared to last year. Tough to look at yearly stats with last weeks whooping with so few games. Overall offensive yardage up maybe 6%, passing way up.

Gould did sign a lot of kids early. We had a huge class, so there is probably no rush ... and they can really see ours needs and look for sleepers.

Who produces videos for Montana, MSU, SLO? ... I just think if I email a highlight video to a busy alum, they will watch it. A press release won't be read.

Our athletic department recently made an interesting choice.

They decided to print up football posters in different languages for the international students. Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, etc. But we don't have game highlight clips.

Some fans think game highlight clips of 2 or 3 minutes would be far more effective for fans, alumni, and recruiting. Alums and fans can forward links, tie into social media.
