The SJSU fan site mentions Monterey Peninsula College as an idea. Holds 3,000, surrounded by an 8 lane track.

Kezar Stadium. There is a PR shot! Holds 10,000, 2nd modern renovation a couple of years ago.

Thank you!! So they are just as motivated to play! This likely will go down as a historic game, one of a kind.

Talk to Vin Scully ... after a long baseball strike, he had read books, took a few vacations, and was getting bored... he re-evaluated his retirement plans. ... Then again, he probably didn't have to deal with memos and politics given his clout.

    Dr Mike +1

I thought we had the majority of funding, but here is this from the Enterprise:

"The project will break ground in early 2019, starting with construction of the practice field. Construction will begin on the Performance Center buildings upon completion of fundraising."

Well, if the game is cancelled, we'd be well rested for the playoffs... but it is odd...

    Why? Lawyers?

Call Reno, call our insurance provider. Would Reno not be empathetic? Attendance would be low, so costs low (less security needed, few vendors). So we have to pay for both our and Sac's buses and lodging? Great PR for Reno, get a sweet deal on hotel roons.

Ditto. Especially evident when JM couldn't lead Doss deep on at least 2-3 occassions ... but the weather was brutal, if it was 30 degrees at gametime, then add wind chill. And he had pressure. But I don't recall us going deep a lot this year, Doss has been doubled.

Not practical to move it to Reno or San Jose if Sac air unhealthy?

OK, attendance might be 1,000 ... but will we enter the playoffs passively w no CC?

I know, bring in 50 politicians from Sac, and let them blow some hot air and clear the joint out.

I hope we put the wood to them, but don't play with our pants on fire!

Interesting article, but vague and light on facts. Between 1930 and the mid 1980s, the biggest fire in Yellowstone was 18,000 acres. This author helped write a fire plan for Yellowstone in the mid 1980s, and in 1988 the massive Yellowstone fire burned for months, burning between 800,000 and 1.2 Million acres.

Years ago I read that the size of our fires had grown dramatically, and "Super Fires" burned so hot, they killed nutrients in the soil as well as all seeds and pods.

The author also doesn't comment on forest equilibrium, the elimination of most lumber mills in California,
