  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
    AWESOME AGGIES!!! BATTLE!!

Fake to the D Lineman - BRILLIANT!!

If we can't run - we can't - pass 80% of the time! Have the pass set up the run.

Ugh. ... (we carry 1 more WR, TE, and 2 more QBs than ND.)
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
OK, HOW DID WE SCORE IN 1 MINUTE??!!

    GO AGS!!

Edit: they have 6, 7 tall receivers, most 6'4", one 6'3", which is an advantage in one respect, but they can't be quicker than 5'10" DBs?

Massive holes on the D Line, and we have size there and 5 seniors. I'm no expert, but with no pressure on the QB it makes our job 2x as tough, then overworked.

Our opponents have had 2 off seasons to study our film. Our "trick" plays seem repetitive. This may be situational, but I haven't seen a snap to the RB or a fake punt, or anything new (& fun).
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
We miss Mason Moe & Parenteau.

Edit: Maybe we're seeing depth issues as our roster includes:

    15 wide receivers
    7 tight ends
    6 QBs

Crawford caught a pass today. TT looked beat up walking off the field last week. So we're thin at RB with Facey out for the year, and our FB is a converted TE we rarely use. We have a converted WR and a couple of walk ons.

I don't agree. We got tons of 3 star recruits. This same team went to the playoffs last year!
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
Which Aggie team shows up today?

The one that battled NDSU, or got trounced by Montana?

Hoping our running game gets going, cleaner game, more fun. Winning is fun.
  • FCS Games of Note: Week 6
Not FCS, but local. San Jose State back? 3 victories already.

Mercury: "In a 32-21 victory over the visiting New Mexico Lobos at CEFCU Stadium, Love threw for 405 yards despite being pressured and hit for the majority of the night. Orchestrating one of his best individual performances at San Jose State (3-2, 1-1 Mountain West), Love helped the Spartans pick up their first conference victory of the season."

Kinda ridiculous to go to all that effort and muff it so badly. Elite? Get back to basics, blocking & tackling.

Solve the problem. Stick the program in a separate banquet room, if needed.
  • FCS Games of Note: Week 5
San Jose State up 6-0 on New Mexico after one quarter. Go Spartans!

No, just declared he is moving on.
  • Montana Game
And it was a home game.

FWIW, Jasper Friis, a 6'7", 330# Cal offensive Redshirt Freshman OL studying applied math, is transfering. Originally from Germany, buried in the depth chart.
  • 2020 Recruiting List
Awesome! All league on both lines, but no official size given though one article said "massive". 6'2", 6'3", 290, 300?
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
The old Little Prague / Blondie's location? Can't recall if I ever made it to LP. Great news.

Doesn't Woodstocks also show the game?
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
I agree we have to reload, can't dwell on the past ... but losing 2 dominant players would be tough for most teams to adjust to. Or to put it another way, add one more dominant player on special teams, defense, or offense... and we're probably in the national championship game.

Question / clarification - new DE Zach Kennedy still with us? His twitter seems to say yes. I believe he was a solid DE recruit, but not listed on our roster. Gray shirt?
  • 2020 Recruiting List
RB Jaalen Rening - who ran for over 300 yards in one HALF - still referred to here as a UC Davis commit.
