Last 7:00 start I recall was Montana. Later start for roots tv broadcast. i didn't think you could announce walk-ons officially. might be getting a ton of academic/financial aid, so we're getting him for almost free.

on one of the BWC broadcasts, they mentioned he had been dealing with an illness. he missed a handful of games, came back for a couple, then missed a handful down the stretch. still seems to be part of the program.

He does have 5 to play 4 BUT he used up one as a redshirt, and next year as a transfer. So he’s left with the three. Any transfer loses a year of eligibility

junior day is tomorrow. First time I believe we’re doing it. Gives recruits and kids who want to be recruited a change to meet the staff, tour campus and facilities, meet with academic reps. NCAA is now allowing alum to talk to recruits and parents as long as its on campus. That will be part of it also

Saturday is ‘Junior Day’. Something new. I guess they bring in potential recruits and kids who want to be recruited, introduce them to staff and players, tour facilities, meet with academic folk, and alum (NCAA now allows this on campus). Be interesting to see the turnout

seems like one of the prerequisites of having a beach volleyball team would be, you know, having a beach. within 100 miles or so.

We were a combined 50-18 this year and 24-3 at home. Let that sink in for a minute! That a 74% overall percentage nearly 90% at home. And no reason to think next season won’t be as successful

Box score has a crowd of 2200. The biggest the women have played in front of ( not counting the end of one of our doubleheaders). Very impressive to win a nail-biter on the road in front of a big, loud crowd

I was just curious how your predictions match up with current reality. you saw them as something like 7-9; reality is 5-12. you had us winning 3 of 4 vs. UNC; turned out the other way. other than that series, you have called it just about right.

i'm not sure how much you've been able to watch them, but based on current results, how do you feel about your 23 (or so) win prediction?

i think another thing that played into UConn graciously coming to Davis, was that they were playing AT Stanford 3 nights later. Might as well work out the jet lag on a middle major, before taking on one of your rivals!

I was listening to the game last night, so have to go on Marsh's commentary about the fouls. But his opinion was the same as BGA -> lots of ticky-tac calls that had ZERO influence on the progress of the offensive player. after the ejection, we picked up 2 or 3 of those in rapid order. even though we pushed the lead to 10+ right after the ejection, i think it came back to have be a positive for the Utes in the long run -> got us deeper into foul trouble, and got their fans into the game.
