I've organized a few watch parties at the SF Athletic Club for basketball. Even was able to get an ESPN3 stream played. They just opened another amazing sports bar in Oakland called the Oakland Athletic Club. They for sure would show the game if asked.

Dominate our conference if we can, if the WCC can be two bid conference, the Big West can get there.

Handled the runs, handled the hot shooters, Ags put in their big boy pants, showed some poise, and deserved this win.

This has been real fun first half to watch. Team is just playing strong, fundamental basketball. Good defense, leading to good offense.

10 lead changes according to the announcers. Considering the amount of new faces, still glad to see us play well on the road against a power 5 team.

The best receiver from that era was Tony Kays. Total stud when we arguably had some of our more competitive teams in the transition to I-AA. He made the catch to set up the game winner at Stanford.

He also had 93 receptions his junior year setting the school record and would have been the most in I-AA if we were eligible. Sounds like Doss is on his way to breaking the Kays records. Grant had a connection to Kays and seems like we are seeing that again with Maier and Doss.

I think they waited two months hoping he would take a job at a Texas school then wouldn't have to be on the hook for his contract this season.

Great win. If this is a series we should make it a goal to be the main event. There is no reason why a team from San Diego and the Bay Area should take precedence over the local teams. We are playing at the same level of D1 basketball.
