It was not the running of the freshman. They are doing that next week. Not sure what got most of the students out, but they were into it for most of the game, at least until the 4th qtr. Very good showing. Band was there…sounded and looked much better than last year. Still got a ways to go but a good first game. I know the owners of the new tee dog, Cori, and they were very nervous before the game. But Cori came through like a champ! It was a great environment and hopefully we get that again next week.

Freshman run has usually been the first home game, and considering this was move in week in the dorms I would think the run would be today. But, I haven’t seen anything about it on the website or social media. I guess we’ll see.

Yeah that decision to try a 64 yard field goal instead of going for it on 4th and 5 didn't make a lot of sense. Especially when you have 3 time outs and a top notch QB (who you spent a boat load of $$ on).

Yeah I saw the pictures from when they went to the Giants game and Lilly was missing. Didn't notice Langi was gone, but as BGA said, not really a surprise.

Very interested in seeing Sabel and Sussman play. Both bring a substantial amount of experience so should be able to contribute right away (we'll need them to). We also seem to have gotten quite a bit shorter (not saying that's a bad thing). Gone are Lilly (6'5"), Langi (6'0"), Stobart (6'3"), Konrad (6'0"), and Hall (6'0"). All the new players are listed under 6'0". We'll see how the rebounding/defense stacks up, but perhaps we get better shooting from the outside.

Better team won, but boy, just a play or two and the Ags pull off the big win.

That's good to hear, a trip they'll remember for a long time. Hopefully the team came out of it with no injuries and can now build upon its summer success.

Absolutely. He’s a talented player and we could certainly use a big man that can step out and hit a jumper.

I noticed Mani is sweats in the pictures From the first game, but wasn’t sure what the deal was. Also thought I saw someone in a knee brace but didn’t recognize him. Sounds like it’s been a great trip so far. Also saw a picture with the Aggie womens waterpolo team in Split. Pretty cool!

Per their Facebook page, Ags won their first exhibition game. Outcome doesn’t really matter but it is always nice to hear that the Aggies dominated the glass.
