Raiders gambled on Doss falling in love with being a Raider, and taking a PS offer at no relative cost to the organization.
It was a cocky move and they lost a good player who did what was best for him.

The other thing I noticed: Doss pulls down at least 3 of those jump balls, maybe equalling a TD and/or a field goal. Quite a loss graduating #3 - special player.

Finally getting around to posting.......
Cal offense is TERRIBLE.
Cal defense is big/fast and all around excellent. Aggie WRs had tough time creating separation. Our D-Line got tired in the 3Q - Aggie offense couldn't stay on the field. I guess this is to be expected when we are smaller all-around (?).
Sorry if I'm repeating the general sentiment on the board at this point (drinking bourbon on Sunday-not-Sunday night).

Our Offense did what it wanted in the 1Q, and after watching our defense more than keep up with a Pac-12 offense, I am super confident this team is going to blow through the Big Sky.

Been begging the athletic department to get with it for 13 years (and don't tell me the "replica adidas jersey" they are selling is any good). I KNOW I'm not the only one. Sac State sells a sweet Nike replica, just like what they wear on the field- not that hard if Sac can do it.

Doss #3 jerseys, and Maier #15 jerseys should be fully stocked in every bookstore AND Costco/WalMart. My family would buy 5 - come on people.

It sounds like the only question from Gruden is "can he get open at this level." A legitimate question of any WR from the FCS- the doubt is just built in.

This is great because he can prove this without getting the rock. They will evaluate a lot of preseason game film on him for sure. There's lots to look at besides the 2 catches..

I think he's got a real shot at being suited up Week 1.
