  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Idaho State
    My two cents:

Passing accuracy has gone way down since Jake left.
As a result, we don't know who we are on offense.

I think I saw Hawkins keep the team from running to the locker room at halftime. The TV feed left, so I'm not sure he kept them out there around the 5 yard line. The team didn't play with urgency in the first half, I'll give him that, but this team is confused about what they are doing on offense- and that's on him.

Coaches need to decide on a QB and an offense going forward and own it.

If Trent can stick and the pocket and throw the ball accurately 10-15 times, he's the guy (he can't do it yet- again, today he was confused about his role). Until then stick with Hunter or Miles (and use Trent in special packages).

What I watched today was a sh*tshow on offense.

When you win the ones you have no business winning……phew all guys at the end- and coaching
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ Weber State
I can’t BELIEVE we didn’t kick it deep
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ Weber State
This is gutsy stuff by the Aggie offense
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ Weber State
Good throw on 4th by Miles!
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ Weber State
Trent needs to be on in this 4th down

Passing game has major issues. If Ags lose, that’s why.
  • USC looking to get out of 2021 game
F it. UNLV has an opening that date. Lets go to Allegiant.
  • Playoffs
Brock Johnson will be a SR. Hunter (JR) has played most of the QB2 snaps, right?

I'm fairly sure that if we want a QB to get out of the pocket and take-off, Tompkins in the guy.
  • San Diego State gets $15M for new stadium
This will catapult San Diego State. Super popular campus, now will have a football stadium.
They have always played in that cavernous pit Qualcomm 5 miles from the campus.
  • Week 12 games of note
Weird to see CP lacking on defense. Those Great West CP defenses were the best in the country.
  • WEEK 8: AGGIES @ THUNDERBIRDS
I've harped on this a few times.....but the offensive fire power is significantly diminished this year. Doss was double covered every play. He was still able to impact the game, and it really opened up the passing game for Maier. I'm fairly sure opposing defenses are not doubling anyone this year.

It just 'aint as easy this year....couple that with a schedule that is twice a difficult.....Here we are at 4-4.

Also......In browsing for "playoffs?!" on YouTube....ran across Mike Leach's "fat little girlfriends" rant. Totally forgot about that one. Made me lol.

    I digress.....
  • 2019 BATTLE FOR THE GOLDEN HORSESHOE
Blow-out victory and we drop a spot in the Coaches Poll to #22.....
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
We're one interception away from 3-3 and still in the playoff hunt. Interceptions and penalties have hurt us badly, we could be 4-2.movielover

I am just going to be honest here and say we are waaaay closer to being 1-5 than 3-3.
A brutal schedule and losing the best WR in school history have been difficult to overcome thus far.

I am confident that a great and experienced coach like Hawkins will turn this season into a positive one. The bottom line is the trajectory of the program is headed in the right direction.
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
Program is in fantastic shape. Year 3 of a complete re-build. New facilities coming. Talent level rising.

Hawkins has only been the HC for 30 games. I'm sure he isn't panicking, and neither should Aggie fans.
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
Doss and Moe loss is no big deal.Riveraggie

I beg to differ. Doss was good for AT LEAST two victories last season.
The loss of this dynamic playmaker is painfully apparent this season.
