Thinking ahead for all home games - we have some big ones this year.

So, looks like there are 3 areas to park and tailgate:
Lot 56 - directly south of the stadium for Team Aggie donors primarily
Lot 53 - SW of the stadium and a bit out of site honestly.
Tailgate Town - Bring and Hang at Bob Biggs field (This is still happening at all home games?)
Champions Corridor - Direct spots on La Rue East of the Stadium. A lot of players families set up here, and I think AST.com will as well this season.

Really liked the atmosphere on Bob Biggs Field --- Tailgate Town if you will, felt a lot like a BYOB Barn Party back in the day...or in some cases bring your own fermented fruit nectar.

Tailgate Town and Champions Corridor are great, especially when you arrive late, it's easy to make friends and find a drink. Even when you come empty-handed, you can make up for it the next time. The people I've mingled with there have been hospitable, talk great story, and are downright good folks. I've heard some real doozies there about the history of the program and all the good ol' days!

So, SochorField and myself will be set up in Champions Corridor - somewhere...trying to decipher the ticketing with the tailgate spots.

We've been engineering so we should have live football on if you want to come by. Look for the banner. Guessing we get there around 3. Right in the heat.

    Game List:
4:00 pm PT - Youngstown State @ South Dakota State on ESPN+
4:00 PM PT - Austin Peay @ West Florida on ESPN+
4:15 pm PT - Eastern Washington @ Washington on BTN
4:30 pm PT - LSU @ Ole Miss on ABC
5:00 pm PT - San Diego @ Cal Poly on ESPN+

IF YOU ARE ON THIS BOARD, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COME BY AND HAVE A DRINK.
HAHA, OR AT THE VERY LEAST INTRODUCE YOURSELF!

I'll be there with an old fraternity buddy. We'll try to swing by between food at the genome center and saying hi to Brock and Dwight over at the practice field.

Will do. I will overcome my introverted nature by stopping in and introduce. I haven't met anyone from the board irl, with the exception of NCagalum when we were students almost 50 years ago, and maybe TrainingRm67 when I was in high school.

Unfortunately, my wife and I will miss this game.

I turned 80 this past Tuesday and my wife surprised me with a 4 day trip to Yosemite where she had rented a house in Yosemite West. Yosemite is a very special place for us. Rock climbing was a passion for me for 45 years and we even got married in the meadow behind the Ahwahnee Hotel by a Park Ranger.

When we got to the house I was completely surprised to see two of my best friends and long time climbing partners were there with their spouses as well. We had an amazing time hiking around the valley and reminiscing about all the amazing climbs we had done so many years ago. We cooked great dinners, drank a lot of good booze, told stories of our adventures from the past and laughed until our sides ached. Yosemite is my favorite place on Earth and this reunion couldn't have been better.

We got home today and my wife just told me that we leave tomorrow morning on the train for Oakland where my son lives and more surprises are in store. It feels weird to be 80 but my wife has made sure that it will be memorable!

We'll miss this game but will be at all of the rest so we'll make a point to come by and say hello at the Montana game.

    Go Ags!

Same spot I reckon! Bob Biggs Field - open tailgate, there's usually some provisions provided, but helps to bring something for the cause!

No, Bruce wasn't there but he is another good friend and former climbing partner. We had a lot of adventures and misadventures together too!

Thanks very much! I've been fortunate to travel a lot in the world and I've visited some of the world's most beautiful cathedrals but Yosemite is, for me, the most beautiful "cathedral."
