Yeah I don't think students should be kicked off campus for moves parents make. Whether you agree with the team being cut or not, I totally get being mad as a member of the team and I also have not seen any members of the team saying anything crazy online. In the few tv interviews with team members they seem pretty grounded. Now, some parents doing wild things online (and in person) should be called out, I think lumping all of the eq supporters together is not something fans or the admin should do. I just don't really see a realistic path of the team coming back. I do get the perspective that the university should let current equestrian team members compete until they graduate.

Is it just me, or are the equestrian parents much quieter after the statment Rocko released?

This is the Stanfod professor mom's side hustle.

Seems like club level equestrian is just okay at Stanford? She isn’t protesting them or saying how the members on that team is suffering.

So the best info I have on the status of this case is that there are now 2 cases potentially being filed, one in the state court in YOLO county and another new case to be filed in federal court. The federal court in Sacramento having said it cannot handle both the Title IX lawsuit and the fraud and the personal injury misrepresentation cases together. So the case was dismissed. The federal title IX case can be refilled in Sacramento (Unknown if this has occurred yet)? But the state court action has been refilled in Yolo county superior court. Apparently the teams attorneys have decided that they will now take on the entire UC davis athletic program, not just the equestrian program as being in violation of title IX. Good luck with that! Especially in federal court in Sacramento!
The personal injury cases for the individual equestrian team members proceeds in the state court. A very different and difficult case. What are the damages in being moved to a club team? When your scholarship is still being honored. See Stanford program citied above by Zythe. Keep tuned
