Would love to build momentum in what is often a strong Big West Conference before moving to the Mountain West next year (which unlike for most sports, may actually be an easier conference to compete in for the Ags).

Jumping right into the fire opening the season at Texas. It would be amazing to snag a win against one of the best baseball programs in the nation.

Seriously. I think we have a good chance to finish higher than 8th in the conference at the end of the year. I expected Santa Barbara to be really strong.

Rough one. Started off well but ended up with some serious struggles in pitching. 12-2

The Ags battled tough in the second game losing 6-4 and they had the tying runs on base in the 9th.

Rough final game. Ags lose 9-1. Nothing to hang our heads about long term, Texas could win the national championship. Happier to see the Ags get some offense against that pitching stuff though.
