Question for tech oriented folks. My wife’s car does not have traditional AM radio. It uses streaming stations off Tuneln. I like to listen to 1140 on my way home from a game. In my wife’s car it won’t load. I’ve also tried streaming it on my phone and i get a message that the broadcast is blocked in my area. Any tips on getting the broadcast other than carrying a small radio?

I go to the actual 1140 website and you can usually stream from the stations website itself and have had no issues no matter where I am (from Davis to Utah)

I would go to the radio link on the ucdavisaggies.com website. Many nights it’s not 1140 broadcasting because of a conflict with the Kings (or NFL). That always seems to work

1140 getting blocked is strange...not sure why that would happen. I usually have good luck asking my question on Google whenever I get stuck with some tech issue and, when that doesn't work, I call my son...

I stream 1140 AM from my phone by connecting to the live feed on the Aggie website. I began doing that because I could never figure out what station the Aggies use when there is a conflict with 1140 AM airing the Kings or the NFL.

Ok, off the UCD website is a good idea. At the game i usually ask Greg Wong whether its 1140 or the varsity network. Jdur i have tried streaming on my phone directly from the 1140 website. Tried it lst night and i got the same message, blocked in my listening area.
