Honestly Illinois State has been really good on the road this season and they play in the MVFC so I'm not terribly surprised. Any team that wins 2 and soon to be 3 games on the road in the playoffs is no fluke. I hope they beat Villanova.

It’s a funny thing because it looks like a blowout and is no doubt. But could have just easily been going the other way minus some key fudge ups, largely on special teams.

Not just as easily. It was hard for Davis to score and simple for Illinois State. The odds favor the team that can’t be stopped on simple plays.

Well this sucks, on the bright side though, my entire family being in town and watching this rough game still had them leaving with “that Pinnick kid needs to come back next year”. We are blessed to have had plough for 2 seasons and he has literally taken us to the quarterfinals both times. This team is on the edge of a national championship run. I’ll have to meet yall in the alumni section next year!

I think a majorly confusing thing this game was our lack of qb runs? Am I crazy or was that just missing compared to last game?

We were moving the ball all game. I believe they stopped us within our own 10 5+ times..

I think there’s a fairly good chance the Nashville game is Montana State vs Illinois State. The Illinois coach seems like a nice guy. I’ll root for anyone but Bobby Houck in the final. But I think it’s Montana State’s year.

When I heard Pysk was injured, my heart sank. There went a leader, DL stud, and Sack man. It also hurt any minimal depth we had - added to an already depleted defense.

When I finally heard he was out, I knew it was a long shot.
