My wife and I are going to be in Paris for the month of October and ESPN+ is blocked outside of the USA and, with the 9 hour time difference, I won't be able to listen to the live radio broadcast either. I just dropped my son off in London last month for college. It was amazing. Zero knifings while I was there. Usually when a post starts with, "People are saying" or "Many sources say," I ignore them...

Western Europe has issues, how big they are considered is subjective.

I spent ten weeks in Europe in 2000. A few snippets:

- I stopped a North African man who manhandled an African woman in front of Gare du Nord train station by alerting police while locals did nothing.
- an African man was manhandling a drunk Parisian woman in a night club in the Republique area. I don't speak French, so had limited insight. The patrons (mostly White) ignored it, a behavior Americans wouldn't tolerate.
- late at night in Paris, several young Parisians (White) were arguing outside, cursing, and repeatedly spitting at each other from a distance. Odd.
- I witnessed a large middle eastern bar manager and crew in the République midday drag out a feeble, argumentative, drunk Parisian man outside. Said manager returned a few minutes later, released a weighted piece, knuckles red, and dipped his hand in ice. He must have been pulverized. A travesty. I finished my beer and departed.

This is an average night in any American city. You bringing race into it is redundant.

I was in Paris last year for the para-games. It was wonderful. Only great interactions with everyone. Sure that the city was cleaned up, but the Parisians that were in the city. and outside the city had great attitudes. Went to several events where the city brought thousands of school children 14 -8 years olds to events. They brought a huge positive amount of energy. It was such a win-win the athletes inspired the crowd and the crowd inspired the athletes. A huge highlight of attending sporting events. I hope your trip is wonderful like mine.

For any concerned about security in Europe, may I recommend Epcot Center. No muggings, just drunk fat women on rented scooters who may run over your foot racing to a midafternoon Wilson Phillips concert. France pavilion is perhaps on point with rude servers who smell like an ashtray. Food is better in Italy. Beer is better in Germany, and Norway is where they hide the eye-candy.

Europe is great, I love it. A friend went recently and had no issues.

But don't be naive. Western Europe has had substantial changes, leading some officials, as one example, to propose banning knives.

I don't have the answer to this, but I'm not going to start theorizing about "black and brown people" (often masked as "immigration" or "the left") being the cause.....which seems to be an undertone in all your posts...please correct me if I'm wrong.

My concern is for young girls and teenagers being brutalized, often gang r*ped, tortured and pimped, on a mass scale. I first read about this in 2000, and it's now spread throughout western Europe. Sweden was one of the first countries hit hard. I don't care who commits the crime, but I won't ignore it, either, for political reasons.

The Sikh community (i.e. dark brown) have educated some of their children about the risks, and some families have flown their daughters to other countries for their own safety.
