I think that punt returner plays for the Saints now. Has a Jordan Fisher build, but Shaheed is even faster. They list him at 6' I think that's a stretch.
I just got an email from the Athletics Department highlighting a bunch of special events planned for the fans:
- T-shirts for the first 1000 students to enter the Aggie Pack
- First year students Storm the Field leading the Aggies out of the tunnel and get a T-shirt as well
- Live animals and agriculture booths outside of Gate 1
- Junior Aggiette cheer clinic
- Fraternity rush tailgate at Bob Biggs Field pregame
- Tables for ChicanX and LatinX Heritage Celebration on the East Concourse
- Halftime kids run the field
- Aggie steam engine
I remember watching the stream of that with my folks, it was a crazy comeback. UCD was still undefeated and Hunter Rodriques seemed like The Guy that season, then he went out with injury. The two freshman QBs coming in to win it on what was (thought to be) the toughest FCS game on our schedule at the time had some Pac-12 After Dark kind of vibes
I watched the first half of the Weber McNeese game
And McNeese had one 68 yard running play but otherwise couldn’t run. Near the end of the half McNeese only had 71 yards total 68 on one play. Weber may be better on run defense than the statistics of that game show.
Holy crap….we’re somewhere in the 16.5 to 17.5 point favorite range. Plough seems quietly confident in discussing the game but I’m really shocked at that spread.
We were big favorite at UTU….so, I guess that’s why they make them play the games!
I noticed Sagarin has three algorithms to predict results, and they all had large spreads but the biggest was an experimental method with individualized home and away values. I take it Weber isn’t a good road team.
Isn’t Weber’s defensive coaching staff basically intact from previous years? I’m expecting this to be a closer game than the predictions. But it would be nice to give some reps to the back up guys.
Did the Tahoe uniforms make it on College Football Gameday on ESPN this morning (or was it Sportscenter)? I saw a clip online, but I wasn't able to watch this morning.
After more than half a century of campaigns to Keep Tahoe Blue, they are going to advertise they failed and it is now Aqua. Green algae has its place, but not in Tahoe. Maybe they should have used the Aqua uniforms to celebrate the Bodega Marine Lab.
The security took my son’s small cowbell (that he got at a previous game last year) because “noise maker device are not allowed inside”. What a joke, that shows…
ty. I kept thinking I was listening to a Weber feed because I didn't recognize the broadcasters. There's also an older guy whose name I can never remember who usually does color but I assume he's on TV too?
