    With a win over UC Riverside yesterday, the Aggies will #2 seed, UC Irvine. During conference play, Davis dropped two close games against the Anteaters, losing by 3 in Davis on February 1st, and by 2 at Irvine just 8 days ago. UCD will need to play another great game against a strong Irvine team that’s looking to defend its tournament crown. Today’s winner will play for the Big West Tournament title on Saturday.

    Terrific half of basketball by the Aggies. Bennett took a vicious elbow to her face and had to leave the game. The foul was upgraded to a flagrant 1 and Sabel canned both FT's. I hope we haven't lost Bennett. She been playing extremely well lately.

    Are you attending the women's games, Mike? They're a very good team when the TO bug doesn't bite them too hard. Hope they can bring home the title tomorrow.

    They had 25 TO's today and Irvine scored 25 points off those TO's. It's a good thing that we were on fire to start the game and Irvine was ice cold and we rolled to that big lead at halftime. Most teams don't win when they commit that many TO's.

    My wife did okay. We planned our trip around the men, and I figured we would probably get to Thursday and lose a close one. I did have a plan to stick around if they won Friday (the Slot Queen was heading back).

    I never made it to the Honda center, but i like the environment in Henderson. That's a perfect size arena for mid-major basketball, and the design seems to amplify the noise well.
