exactly, I think he looks much more settled even with some mistakes than last game.

I just feel like its still a trek for a lot of students or families, especially with the weekend that this years tourney was. Why not keep the game in so cal where fans can drive or take public transit to the game for the night?

Poly likes to run and shoot and they do it very well. Our defense needs to be locked in and disruptive in the second half. Poly is capable of exploding and taking over the momentum. Our defense needs to make sure that doesn't happen.

    I'd be for that.

It's great to see Losé playing well tonight. We can use his help off the bench.

And, here they go. Davis on an 0-7 run.

The lead is down to 2. This is exactly what I feared would happen. Poly is breaking down the Aggie defense and Ags have gone cold.

2-21 run. Solid way to blow a game.

I can't understand how a team that played so well for a half can completely fall apart in the next half. This is awful.

Worst 2nd half ever so far.
I’m sorry but I think it’s time to move on from coach Les.

My thoughts exactly. If they finish the season on an 0-7 run, where almost every 2nd half they completely imploded, with 1 year to prepare for the Mountain West, I'm not confident Les is the guy.

I don’t think it’s Les. Injuries have killed an already weak team. Tamba is a 5 when he was a 4 all season long

Literally standing around under the basket while Cal Poly scores left and right.

Depth is a part of it. Every team has injuries in the post season.

We shot 65% in the first half and that was an anomaly for us this season. What we are seeing in the second half is, unfortunately, what we've seen this team do a lot this year especially in late in the season. When we go cold, it affects our defense and everything starts to unravel.

Credit also needs to go to Cal Poly. After settling for 3s for a lot of the first half, they started to drive into the key and on defense they're being a lot more aggressive.

Our defense has been asleep at the wheel in the second half.

A dismal end to a dismal season. It's a real mystery how this team could be so much poorer than last year's team with three starters and a key 6th man returning. It's not just the injuries. There seems to be some kind of lack of will somewhere. I suspect that Coach Les knows about it and has tried to address it, but it's tough to fix a team's overall chemistry when things just aren't coming together. Next year a lot will change if only because there is only one returning starter.

Another disappointing loss in a disappointing season...7 straight loses to end the season. I know the team feels terrible but they always played hard in every game win or lose. We just didn't have the depth to be able to compete with consistency.

Jim Les has a lot of rebuilding to do prior to next season and certainly before we begin MWC play in 2026. This program is not on an upward trajectory.

Toke, I don't think it's ever been a chemistry thing. We've simply not had any consistent offensive firepower this year and we've been overly dependent on our defense. You just can't win on defense alone. Poor offensive numbers and a lack of depth has been our Achilles heel this year.

When a team seems to lack energy after coming out for a second half with a 9 point lead, to me there's something psychological going on. It's not the first time either. I certainly don't blame Coach Les. One bad season and it's "time to fire the coach?" A sports columnist our her has publicly called for the firing of Eran Ganot, after Hawai`i failed to make the tournament. We're talking about two proven coaches who both won NCAA tourney games.

It does seem that when we go cold on offense, we get out of sorts and things start breaking down on both ends of the court. We miss a few shots and it's like it's contagious and everyone goes cold and then we start rushing our shots and it gets worse. Maybe it did become psychological at some point because it was happening so often. It was tough to watch because you could see the disappointment in the players body language. We'd continue to play hard but you could really see the frustration.

Tough season for the Aggies but my wife and I have enjoyed following them. They're all great, young men and they'll be able to take what they learned from their sport and from their education and carry it forward into the careers and lives ahead. I wish all the graduating seniors all the best. Aggie Pride...

As a person who enjoys basic strategies but don't know much, what's the strategy of bringing no players at the free throw line to get offensive rebounds when we are shooting the free throws? Is it because it's more beneficial to get set defensively than to get offensive rebounds? If so, how so?

Disappointing finish to the season. I feel for the seniors.

Over the past 14 seasons the Aggies are 210-216 overall. In Big West Conference play, the Aggies have gone 119-107.....this is in a conference I'm sure everyone agrees we had our eyes set on dominating by this time in the programs D1 evolution.

3 ('15, '17, '18) (maybe 4...'24) "good" years over 14 is something to be looked at.

That was painful to watch in person. We were down low so could hear and see a lot. When we had that streach of something like 5 turnovers in a row, you could feel Poly feeding off it and desperation setting in on our bench. Poly made some kind of defensive adjustment that took the passes to Tomba out of the game - that led to some sloppy, forced passes and scores off at the other end. I didn’t see the point off turnovers but I’d imagine is was key to their run.

One negative about our ‘switch everything’ smaller lineup us that we lose Rocak’s smarts and leadership on the court. He’s like a coach out there. I think some of the others’ attempts to fire guys up actually does the opposite.

Sorry to see the seniors go out like that.

Waking up in Henderson to rain, wind and a COLD 47 (‘feels like 30’ according to app) is icing on the cake.

do you think its time for les to go? Les is 195–199 (.495) at Davis. I am just worried moving up.
