Our top recruit, Jalen Stokes, had his transfer from Dublin to Dougherty Valley denied. DV will appeal. Dublin, apparently, objected and asked to have the transfer denied. Ironic since Dublin has benefited from transfers probably more than any other EBAL school.

Dublin High, specifically, objected? Or the district?

Seems a little crazy for a HS to try to keep a kid where he doesn't want to be. I know nothing about the details of the situation though.

Stokes won his appeal and has been playing for Daugherty Valley. He scored 32 last night in victory over DeLaSalle and had 47 last week in a loss vs Cal High. He plays this Friday at Granada (here in Livermore) - I plan to go and will pass on my views.
