    back in the program's dark ages, we were at the football golf tournament when the coach turned it over to Q&A. our most influential alum/donor 'asked' : 'Hey Ron, it seems like every game their QB is better than ours. What do you plan to do about that?'

    Its nice to be able to say our QB was the best one on the field every game this year (yes, including Montana State).

    Yikes. That was a tough time for the program for many folks.

    Maybe the receivers will get some love too. Hastings throws to so many receivers that none rack up eye popping stats. None made even honorable mention besides tight end Williams.
