A truly wretched article in the Davis Enterprise appears to say that Larison was 2nd team all conference. My wife read it first and said "what???" Then I read it and it does appear to say that. Bad fact checking or poor writing.

That's a pretty harsh, personally biased opinion but to each his own...

Of course it's a "biased" opinion: it's a personal opinion. I didn't run it by anyone. Harsh? I know he's a favorite but I've been reading him for as long as I've continuously lived in Davis (since 1980) and his material has gone down substantially. His "color" work on radio/TV has also degraded. So, yes, harsh.

I think there's something lost in translation since he's the All-Purpose player of the year in both AP and Stats Perform All-American teams -- I think it's referring to both his offensive yards and being a regular on special teams coverage including multiple game-clinching onside kick plays
