It looks like we might be getting 1 more DB signing. He hasn't posted it outright, but from some other tweets I was able to find it looks like 3 star safety Kam Totton is going to be signing with UC Davis tomorrow.
I'll update the list with signed players tonight. Got a pretty hectic day at work today and probably won't have the chance to do it as they come in. GO AGS!
Take a few minutes to listen to our newest defensive lineman's recruiting journey.
Sounds like a lot of his offers (Notre Dame, Miami, others) dried up because he's only 6'0"
instead of 6'3". Came down to UCD and New Mexico State.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xt03TBqTnVk
Big body receiver, redshirted and played in three games last season. Absolutely zero stats this year - whatever the circumstances are he wants to move on and play somewhere else, they'll be going off a possible workout and his HS tape. Originally recruited to play on Hawk's team.
Stacy Dobbins was the only freshman to play any meaningful snaps this season...and with Hutton, Davis and Tompkins graduating after this season, seems there'd be every opportunity to earn a starting role if he wanted to stay.
...and fellow Campolindo star himself QB Grant Harper is likely slated to be the No. 1 heading into the offseason.
A tall receiver who added weight but never got any receptions. The Aggie two-minute tape he posted shows solid grabs in the corner and back of the end zone.
We thankfully have had low portal activity, but that's another reason I hoped Fisher, Mascheroni, and others got needed PT. I understand it's a balancing act, and staff probably wanted max numbers for Larison.
List has been updated! Looks like only 1 commitment that hasn't signed (or was a PWO offer)! Looks like a solid class so far. Some very interesting QB and defensive talent.
There's so much pressure and uncertainty on these athletes at such a young age especially when the big programs are already contacting them when they are 14 or even younger. It sounds like it's been long journey for him with a lot of ups and downs but he's grown a lot as a result over the years and now he has certainly made a wise decision in choosing to become an Aggie.
Their loss for pulling offers over him being 6'0 instead of 6'2. His highlights show some pretty solid passing rushing for an interior lineman. He said he just recently turned 17 and is already 300 lbs. He's going to be an anchor for the defensive line in the future.
Probably the flashiest highlights in our recruiting class go to QB Xzavior Guess though. True dual threat guy and put up video game numbers this last season.
Looking at the battle for the offers we lost out on (40 listed) - Aggies lost out on 9 recruits to Big Sky schools: 2 to Sac State, 3 to Montana (all Washington kids), 1 to Idaho, 2 to Montana State (1 from WA, 1 from Minnesota), 1 to Cal Poly. Not too bad.
I wonder if QB Treynor Cleeland will develop into a No. 1 ATH role like Tompkins did...kid's a physical stud - would love to see him make it as a QB though, he'd be dynamic. Between Harper, Wright, Rasor, and now Cleeland, Eason, Guess and Miller - going to be a hyped QB room - ULTRA COMPETITIVE
Did the Aggies land ANY Offensive Linemen? JC and Transfer Portal only?
Did we recruit a Punter? No joke, 115th in the country in punting average.
