29Not a huge fan of DEI, but in looking at the article and the pictures this popped for me.

There is a huge absence of middle age or older folks in their DEI pictures. Or maybe folks are pissed by the old presidential candidates and this is the backlash. -

29Us old folks are invisible. When I looked at the pictures and believed pictures were curated to form a mosaic. However, the thought of age as in important part of diversity was excluded. Many cultures look for the wisdom of age and life experiences, but the UCD athletic department may not.

117How old should people be in this group? There are people in their 30s and 40s, (possibly 50s?), with a decade or two of experience. Is that still too young?
