Nice find, movie! The kid has next to 0 recruiting presence from what I have been able to see so it'll be interesting to see if this is a PWO commit or not.
Hi this is Tommy Ansley. I was at minot state for the summer but ended up wanting to bet on myself and play higher level ball. I left and needed to redshirt at C.O.D. since their season already begun. Going to be playing RB and P, and I’m 6’1 225 lbs right now. I likely retweeted Kyle Hill post on Twitter and that is why it popped up. I would keep an eye on myself as UC Davis did recruit a few juco guys this year, and I would be a great addition to the university. Who knows, maybe I will be an Aggie this time next year?
2nd signing date is just a couple of days away and we still got plenty of open offers on the table. Class is already looking pretty solid though. GO AGS!
New commitment from 3 star WR Stacy Dobbins! He's small... like really small, but had 900 yards and 8 TDs on a powerhouse St. John Bosco team. Had a couple of Big Sky offers.
Saw a tweet that we may have landed 3 star RB Carter Vargas. Vargas himself has said that he will be committing and signing tomorrow, but has not announced the team yet. He would be a big get for the RB corps.
And speaking of tomorrow, the signings should be coming in bright and early. I'll update the list when possible. PWO signings won't be announced, but I'll keep my eyes open for guys making announcements on social media.
Name Pos. Ht. Wt. Hometown Previous School / High School
Stacy Dobbins WR 5-8 155 Temecula, CA St. John Bosco HS
Jalen Harris RB 6-0 170 Berkeley, CA Berkeley HS
Tyson McWilliams CB 6-2 190 San Diego, CA St. Augustine HS / Cal
Caden Pinnick QB 6-0 180 Loomis, CA Del Oro HS
David Porotesano OL 6-5 280 Oceanside, CA Oceanside HS
Carter Vargas RB 6-0 200 Santa Maria, CA St. Joseph HS
I think Jalen Harris will be more of a CJ Hutton role. If you look down the road a year we lose Larison, Tompkins, and Hutton. Even Perez is listed as a junior in 2023 but thats is not his eligibility status.
Eight guys had FBS offers, and according to CA Forevers list, we lost very few to FCS teams, only two to league rivals. A very successful recruiting effort. Nicely spread over all positions except tight end.
Cyrus Durham, 6'4 240 LB out of the College of San Mateo, signed with Arizona. He'll be joining former Aggie great Chubba Ma'ae who transferred in December.
