Portland State offense is working at the level Davis’ did last year as far as yards and points. Last year in conference games Davis averaged 39.6 points. PSU is averaging 39.4. In conference games this year. Davis this year only averages 23.2, with predominantly the same players as last years team.
Must win-out for the Ags. Beating PSU, ISU and upsetting Sac gets 'em in @ 7-4 I would say.
I don't know much about PSU, but it looks like this is going to depend on what version we are getting: the Viks that lost to Idaho State at home, or the Viks that beat NAU and EWU.
Hard to believe they haven't been to Aggie Stadium since 2016.
“ The Viks are flying sky high right now, their QB is turning into a remarkable playmaker.”
Not only their QB, but they have a kick rear RB, Jobi Malary, who ran for 241 yards and 6 TDs against EWU.
I'm hopeful that we'll see the Aggies really come together and play their best game of the season. I feel like this is a pretty talented team still waiting to put it all together in a game from start to finish. The forecast is for 79 degrees at the start of the game which is unseasonably warm for this time of the year and the sun will again be directly in the eyes of everyone on the east side of the stadium.
Maybe, just maybe, no turnovers this game. Would be nice to see if the offense in general could get rolling. We've only broken the 30 point marker twice this season; Cal Poly and TAMU-Commerce.
Did they change the arrangement for the National anthem? I thought there used to be a high trumpet part and now there’s countermelody from the low brass that I don’t remember from before.
Maybe this arrangement has been in place for a while, I usually don’t get to the games early anymore
Non homecoming, non marquee, non rivalry game when the team hasn’t been doing so hot, I figure attendance was a lost cause. Just gotta figure things out on the field, come into the sac game with a decent record, and attendance will work out for Causeway
