At least the defense is doing their part, but the offensive line is holding us back right now. And why did we field that punt?

Wait what happened between the botched snap and the TD? I missed it. I'm so happy to see every play potentially developing into something exciting. And while the team is raw I love the energy!

run game has been atrocious and the defense has been doing their part making several stops even when USD has been given a short field.

seems like the most exciting QB play since Randy Wright was sudden starter all those years back and surprised everyone

Maier has been a pleasant surprise. He needs to clean up the interceptions, but all in all he seems to be in control of the game. We also have gunslingers in the pipeline, notably Jake Dunniway who passed for over 4000 yards his senior season.

I'm at the game and the big Daktronics screen is awesome! Tack sharp and great audio. Only big problem is that there have been no replays. What the heck..???

Commentators pointed out that Maier is on track to potentially break Daft's single-game passing record.

If he's able to do that in his second-ever DI game against a playoff FCS team -- well, that's insane.
