The baseball website for St. John's states they will be playing the Aggies in Davis 3/2- 3/4. That was the weekend that was left vacant when another opponent pulled out If it's true (not updated on the UCD website yet) that's a pretty exciting addition to the schedule.
What's more interesting is that the Red Storm is making the trip out west to play the Aggies only- No other stops out here. It makes me think UCD must be giving St. John's a pretty good guarantee to make the trip. The alternative would be a home- and- home, which would probably send the Aggies to New York next year. That kind of trip would be unprecedented.
The Red Storm was 42- 13 in 2017. To the best of my knowledge these 2 teams have never played one another.
2/16- 18 @Cal State Bakersfield 2/19 Stanford 2/23- 25 Creighton 3/2- 4 St. John's 3/5 St. Mary's

SAC released their schedule. They will apparently have to be road warriors in 2018- only 24 home games.
The hornets' non-conference schedule looks kind of weak. There's 13 games against the Pac- 12, but very few against teams that finished well overall last season. Washington was ranked at some point, but they barely ended up with a winning record. And the early games against SJSU and Santa Clara don't look great either.
It's a real departure from when they were playing the likes of Auburn and LSU. If I had to guess I'd say it looks like higher profile teams are avoiding them.
Never mind, you already posted the games vs. Sac State.
Re: their schedule - my guess would be that they have decided to only play teams that will return the trip and play them at their place, which means no more trips to SEC country. Nice coup for them getting UW to play them at home. Their schedule actually isn't that bad because of something that you hit on - 13 games against the Pac 12 including three weekend series. They also have a series at UCSB, who should be better with the talent level according to their highly rated recruiting classes and are only a year removed from going to Omaha.
4/27-4/29 at Long Beach. They released their schedule yesterday.
Here are their non-conf series - St. Mary's, at TCU, Ole Miss, at Texas A&M, Tulane, at Fullerton (always play two series), at Fresno. Very impressive.
Two game midweek series vs. ASU, midweek game vs. Vandy (guessing they are out here for the Dodgertown tournament with USC and UCLA), the usual local midweek teams (USC, UCLA, SDSU, etc.).
Washington is returning the Hornets' visit from this year. They came out to Davis in 2013 (Aggies won 3 of 4, but the season went downhill from there).
So, if we figure there are 9 weeks in conference play (8 conference and 1 non- conference) and factor in that UCD regularly schedules its conference opener around the last day in March we get the following potential game layout from the schedules already released.
I looked over schedules dating back to 2012 and noticed some things. UCR and CSUN have been trading week 1 and 7 going back to 2015. Week 2 has either been HI or Fullerton since 2012. Poly hasn't been week 1 since 2012. Fullerton vacated week3 to Poly in 2017. It doesn't make sense that poly would go from week 9 (2 year's in a row)to 3 then back to 9. The bye week has stayed the same since last season.
So I reason that If CSUN and UCR hold down 1 and 7 in some order then they aren't week 9 and neither is poly, leaving UCI as week 9 for the second straight year.
We know UCR isn't week 7 because they're playing Fullerton so it is probably week 1 if patterns hold true. That would make CSUN #7.
If Poly isn't 1,7, or 9 then it must be week 3 by process of elimination, the same as last season
That leaves the last available week (#4) to UCSB.
So using the patterns here is my guess at the last 9 weeks:
Fullerton's conference schedule. This hasn't been released by the school yet but has been provided to some people. Sorry about the bad info previously, that came from a link to the school's website that isn't accurate.
Mar. 29-31 @ UCSB*
Apr. 6-8 vs. Cal Poly*
Apr. 13-15 @ SDSU
Apr. 20-22 vs. Hawaii*
Apr. 27-29 @ UCI*
May 4-6 @ UCD*
May 11-13 vs. UCR*
May 18-20 vs. CSUN*
May 24-26 @ LBSU*
Creighton released their schedule today. They are returning the Aggies' visit from last year. The Blue Jays also visited Davis in 2012, winning 2 of 3. In the first game the Aggies hit well against current Giants pitcher Ty Blach, but the bullpen blew the lead.
And we have confirmation on UCI's website. And that's the key piece of the puzzle, because it pegs CSUN as the only one for the 5/13, which then leaves ucsb as the last team without a home. Conferences Schedule= Complete !
Also St. Mary's released their schedule. 11 games unmasked in 1 day ! Truly a landmark day for UC Davis baseball message board schedule assembly !!!!!!
Well, since FBF has spilled the beans (not really, Oregon just released their schedule). I'll fill in another series I know about + Mark it with "tentative" so nobody books a hotel on my say- so, not that it's a real destination anyway. Heard it from some guy at the game.
