Go on the road on comfortably beat a top-15 team? That’s a “we want to make the playoffs” type win right there. Beat Sac and we’re in for sure. A close loss and then I have no idea.
Yes. Actually both offensive and defensive line play was dominant. Offensive line did a great job of protecting Hastings, although Hastings does a great job of getting the ball out quickly.
I hope Rex and Porter’s parents were able to attend. Chatted with them in Bozeman and they drove there so I suspect they did. Rex has a real nose for the ball.
Sorry I missed what seems like a pretty solid Aggie victory. Idaho never got closer than 12 points in the second half. Now I have to see how the basketball team is doing.
Idaho looked unstoppable in the 3rd qaurter. Only those two failed 2pt tries somewhat stemmed the blows. Hawk played very conservatively and then in the 4th, decided to open the playbook again. The play then improved.
I'm really proud of this team and the coaching staff at how they continued to stay focused and get better after a very tough, disappointing start to the season. Those 4 tough losses to good teams plus several key injuries could have sunk our season but they stayed the course and have put themselves in a position to potentially do something very special: spoil Sac's undefeated season and punch their ticket to the playoffs. Go Ags!
They seem to be a solid team (going based on results). Before today they'd lost to 6-4 Wash St by 7, 3-7 Indiana by 13 and an undefeated Sac by 3 on the road. Also won at Montana. Missed Montana St and Weber but all you can do is play your schedule and they've played their schedule pretty well this year.
Like you said, this was a good win for us. We put up 44 on them and the most they'd given up before today was 35.
