Montana is in it to win. I do think the crowd was affecting EW. And it looked like Barriere had some banged up ribs. He was very reluctant to run the ball. He is so impressive. I thought the MT D played him really well, but 600 yards later….
Me either alum. I wonder if we'll see a shootout in Sacramento. Also, so far the playoff selection committee is 7/7 in terms of seeded teams making it to the final 8. Looks like they chose wisely.
Yeah but the difference with SDSU is they were about 2 plays off from being 11-1 with a solid schedule.
While the late money looks to be going on J street, i just son’t see the Jacks loosing to them.
Hauck always plays dirty. Kind of a jerk like his dad. EWU lost this game primarily on horrible special teams play (an issue with them all year). The INTs were in part due to desperation mode having arrived at that point due to poor special teams.
Sac is reminding me of a couple of years ago. League champs and rolling, then getting rolled in first playoff game. The game is far from over but SDSU must think California FCS football is sub-par. Not hard to see why MVFC believes they are superior to Big Sky.
I was sitting with a football coach at the basketball game today and asked about Montana’s dirty play. He agreed that was their style - cowboy mentality to intimidate you. Also, little Hauck is the worst. Referees let it happen
FG for SDSU, but it looked a lot worse with them in the red zone. I'm listening to the SDSU broadcast and all of the ads are for farming and agriculture. It almost makes us look like city cowboys by comparision.
it’s not badminton? It’s not football, either. Twisting a mobile QB’s ankle is horseshit. Hit hard, hit within the whistle, but get rid of the crap that gets people hurt.
Only my SDSt -6 wager. Heck of a second half effort from Sac though. It looked like this was well on the way to being a 30 point blowout and yet they've still got an outside shot midway through the 4th.
