Incredible courage and dedication from this young man. Football can be a cruel game to love at times. I wish him well and hope he heals up but at what point is enough, enough. You've only got one body for a lifetime and this is, after all, just a game and he has his whole life ahead of him.

It looks like there is a post from Saturday showing him recovering from surgery. Did something happen in the causeway that required immediate surgery? Or old pic?
