You have your NFL-caliber WR on the outside, single coverage, and instead of having your Walter Payton candidate QB throw it to him for a 50/50 ball on the boundary you throw it to your QB on a trick play. I don’t get it, I don’t like it, and we need to execute better to win this game.
Maybe a little too experimental. The Crawford pass was a trick play and that’s fine but when you go to untested passer throwing to the QB that’s a whole different level,
