Yep, expanding the relationship between UCD and Sports 1140. 1140 will now carry ALL MBB games (I assume unless it conflicts with Kings games), plus 14 one hour coaches shows (11 football and 3 MBB). Les and Blue are currently on 1140 talking about it.

This is really great news. KHTK 1140 is the biggest sports talk station in the greater Sacramento area and they are a powerful station with a long reach. We'll get a lot of exposure from this and, hopefully, more fans in the seats as well.

With a strong car radio, it is possible to get 1140 in the inner East Bay. KTHK covers the whole valley. You can get it from Redding to Bakersfield and east to Reno for sure. They carry other teams too besides the Kings and Ags.

What is the hierarchy for KTHK after the Kings? I know the Raiders are high on the list but they usually play only on Sundays generally. Are we (the Ags) ahead of the Republic, A's and Sharks? Is it the same for CFB and MBB?

Good news, a big upgrade for basketball!! Hopefully more folks in the area here games on the radio and come check out a game in person

The Kings schedule was recently released. It looks like the only Kings conflict with FB is the Causeway Classic. The week prior, Kings play the Lakers at 7pm, but our game at EWU is at 1pm so it should be fine. The Kings have an away game at 5pm et. Usually our game vs Sac starts either at 1 or 2pm. This would clearly not work. Is our game aired on KDVS or KSAC if there is a conflict?

KDVS always airs the Aggie games. KHTK might air the game tape delayed if there is a conflict with a Kings game and, I suppose, it would be possible that our former station, Money 105.5 FM, would air the game. The Causeway Classic has also always been televised locally so I would expect that will continue.
